The points awarded for each tile, as well as the amount of tiles, depend on the language you’ve chosen.

Tiles show how many points they are worth on their upper right corner. When you form a new word, each letter’s points are added to the final score.

You can earn extra points by placing your tiles on the following special squares:

- DL (Double Letter): when a tile is placed on this square, its points are doubled. If the tile is worth 3 points, it will add 6 points to your score.
- TL (Triple Letter): when a tile is placed on this square, its points are tripled. If the tile is worth 3 points, it will add 9 points to your score.
- DW (Double Word): when a tile is placed on this square, the total points of the word will be doubled. If the sum of the points of all the tiles in a word is 14, you will be awarded 28 points.
- TW (Triple Word): when a tile is placed on this square, the total value of the word will be tripled. If the sum of the points of all the tiles in a word is 14, you will be awarded 42 points.

If you place all the tiles from your rack in a single move, you will be awarded 40 extra points, i.e., if the word is worth 32 points, the final score will be 72.
